Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef who is a popular personality. She also was an instructor for the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network host with spiky blond hair and an ebullient personality, explains how to prepare restaurant-style meals in your home with simple techniques. Chef Burrell is also a part of many of the best eateries within New York, studied the food culture and culinary traditions of Italy and competed on the Food Network's Iron Chef America. Burrell was born within New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America has sparked her interest in the management of restaurants after she graduated with an English/Communications degree at Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was an unforgettable experience for me. The Culinary Institute of the Americas was a fantastic location to learn. After graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) as she attended an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. In Italy the chef developed an appreciation for and understanding of Italian cuisine. It had a significant impact on how she views food. Burrell is a celebrity ambassador of the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She also is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board, which helps children with obstacles. She talks about her culinary passion and shares her experiences in the food world when she goes on trips across the USA in both her roles as speaker and mentor. Anne has said throughout her professional career that she feels so fortunate to be able be able to share what's essential for her.
