Whitney Cummings (born on September 4,1982) is an American comic and actor. Whitney Cummings was once a cast member on Punk'd, the MTV program Punk'd. The actress is the star and creator of the NBC comedy Whitney and co-creator as well as creator of CBS's 2 Broke Girls. Cummings made the move to Los Angeles following college. She worked at Punk'd on MTV and, in 2004, appeared as EMR in a low-budget thriller that was shown in Cannes. Cummings began performing stand-up in 2004. Cummings appeared in Variety magazine's 2007 list of "10 Comics You Should See". Last Comic Standing auditioned her in San Francisco in 2008. But she didn't get through. Cummings's appearance during The Tonight Show has been observed in the past by Conan O'Brien and Carson Daly. Cummings appeared in The Tony Rock Project as and in the 2008's Made of Honor.
